Property Rights As a homeowner herself, Susan reveres both the family home and business as integral parts of the American Dream and believes property owners should not be forced out to generate more tax revenue for government. Susan is committed to upholding our Fifth Amendment property rights and keeping our homes, businesses and farms safe from unfair seizure by government.	Congressman Roscoe Bartlett and Delegate Krebs work in Washington and Annapolis to protect our property rights.

• Co-sponsored the Property Protection Act of 2006, which would have stopped the state from seizing private property for all but legitimate public uses, such as roads, parks and schools.
   

• Served on the Joint Republican Caucus Eminent Domain Workgroup and helped draft the 2006 proposed constitutional amendment.
   

• Sponsored legislation to limit the state death tax so we are not forced to sell our family homes, farms and businesses when a loved one dies.
