Ladies in Leadership, which supports
conservative candidates for the Maryland
General Assembly, kicked off the summer
season with its Suds and Sausage picnic
at the Patapsco Female Institution in
Ellicott City. The Institution, a
well-known 19th-Century
school for young women, is a Greek
Revival structure (top photo) that
overlooks the Patapsco River Valley.
Seated with Susan at the same event
