 Delegate Krebs Honored for Perfect Attendance

     Delegate Susan Krebs is among 10 legislators statewide to win Lighthouse Awards for their perfect attendance during the 2006 regular and special sessions of the General Assembly.

     “The 10 legislators who made every vote, especially the two legislators who have won three years straight, deserve praise for never missing a vote and always showing a presence on behalf of their constituents,” said Doug Graham, executive director of the Maryland Accountability Project.

     The Lighthouse Awards, announced this week by the Maryland-based nonpartisan watchdog group, also were given to the following legislators:

 ·        Sen. James DeGrange, D-Anne Arundel County

·        Sen. Phil Jimeno, D-Anne Arundel County, who recently retired

·        Del. Joseph Boteler, R-Baltimore County

·        Del. Eric Bromwell, D-Baltimore County

·        Speaker Michael Busch, D-Anne Arundel County

·        Former Del. John Cluster, R-Baltimore County, a three-time Lighthouse winner who was
                  defeated in last year’s election

·        Former Del. George Edwards, R-Garrett and Allegany counties, now a state Senator

·        Del. J.B. Jennings, R-Baltimore and Harford counties, a three-time winner

·        Del. Anne Kaiser, D-Montgomery County, a three-time winner

 The Maryland General Assembly has 47 Senators and 141 Delegates.
