Dear Friends,      Thank you for visiting my website. 	HOUSE REPUBLICANS’ PERSPECTIVE . . . As you know, the Governor recently imposed spending cuts that impact public safety, community colleges and vulnerable populations, as well as other programs. LETTER TO THE EDITOR: STATE GOP HAS PLAN FOR THE BUDGET . . . As stocks tumbled on Wall Street this week, many of us re-examined our personal savings accounts, retirement accounts and pension funds. It seemed only prudent to make sure our fiscal house was in order. Unfortunately, under the current leadership in Annapolis, that principle has been ignored. UNSOLICITED TEXT MESSAGES AND CALLS . . . Several constituents have expressed concern that their cell phones may be bombarded soon with unwanted telemarketing calls and text messages. Some have even received e-mails warning that telemarketing calls will increase because of a new cell phone number database.
