Back Home in Eldersburg

When Susan is not meeting with constituents or attending community meetings, she watches her son, Brian, play sports for Liberty High School or drives to Salisbury University to watch daughter Stacey play varsity volleyball. She also visits with oldest daughter, Heather, who graduated recently from Elon University in North Carolina and works at IBM. Susan enjoys quality time with her children, husband, and their Labrador Retriever, Libby, at the family’s home in Eldersburg. Her parents, Janis and Bill Wolf, live just down the street and often help Susan with her family responsibilities when she travels to Annapolis for the Legislative Session.

Delegate Krebs and husband, Mark, celebrate daughter Heather’s graduation from Elon University in 2006. Also pictured are Stacey and Brian Krebs.

Susan has been an active member of Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church for more than 20 years. She serves on the Board of Directors for the church’s preschool, the Early Years Learning Center. She also serves on the Honorary Board of Directors for another South Carroll organization, the Joanna M. Nicolay Melanoma Foundation, which is dedicated to fighting the most lethal form of skin cancer. In addition, Susan works to prevent teen drug abuse by participating in Not My Kid programs during back-to-school nights each Fall.

Susan and her husband, Mark, raised their three children in Eldersburg.

Parents Janis and Bill Wolf never dreamed their Susan would have such close ties to a Maryland Governor.

She also serves on the advisory boards of the Historical Society of Carroll County and the J.O.S.H. Foundation, which is working to build an Angel of Hope statue to honor children who have passed away.
